Restrict-howto

Restricts refers to a plugin that was installed by Keegan Gartner.

It is very limited and will hopefully be replaced by a more flexible system.

How it works

2 types of pages restricted or not restricted. 3 types of users, those who can see restricted pages, those who can restrict pages, and everyone else.

To be able to view restricted pages you must go to Special:Userrights and add member to one or more of the appropriate groups.

• restrict will allow you to restrict and unrestrict pages.
• viewrestrict will allow you to view restricted pages.

NOTE: you have to by a sysop or Bureaucrat in order to change permision groups.
